Congratulations to Louisville. The two programs are on opposite trajectories.
Time for the Cat's to regroup in the off season.
The HC for Tulane is gaining alot of traction for different HC jobs. UK has been mentioned as a possible landing spot for him. He has ties to the UK program. Guess we'll see how this plays out.

I'm gonna borrow from one of America's finest politicians when naming this season's UK team. She was spot on when she used the term and it works well for this group--- THE DEPLORABLES !!!

Cats never was in this one. Just going through the moitions to get it over with it. Whether Stoops stays or goes, there needs to be a lot of changes. If he stays, Stoops needs to makes changes himself.

Cats clearly had little interest in being there today. That's on Stoops. Stoops clearly had little interest in being back at UK this season. It showed. Move on from the overpaid clown.

Stoops isn’t going anywhere. Too much money for a buyout and no team is gonna come after him.
Yes they can pay him to go away over a period of time but UK isn’t gonna do that then turn around and pay another coach millions to come here.
Unless something happens, Stoops will be here for the foreseeable future JMO.

And Mitch isn’t gonna go anywhere either. Kentucky’s campuses are called “Barnhardt Family Athletic Complexes “ I’m guessing that has to do with Mitch’s family.

Kentucky football is not in a good place.

No, it’s definitely not. I think where we’ve really whiffed the last couple of years has been in the transfer portal with the qb’s. Leary was so-so, not nearly as good as advertised (and you’ll never convince me he wasn’t damaged goods all year long), and Vandagriff just looked scared most of the time. With the offensive weapons we’ve got, the qb has to produce more.
As for Stoops, I think he’s done a commendable job here overall, but it sure does look like he has checked out. Barnyard looks like he hit the mark with his two basketball coaching hires. Probably gonna get a chance to see if he can do the same for the football program.

Stoops has about 9 million reasons to not be going anywhere. No one's going to be knocking down his door to gain his services, either. I thiunk he showed at the end of last season that he probably wanted to be elsewhere. But I don't see him leaving. He probably enjoys money. It's getting into Cal territory. I loved Cal but he had gotten lazy and had kinda checked out, I think. He had definitely worn out his welcome with a good portion of the fanbase. Stoops looks to be following suit.

I seen the other day where Stoops said a lot of people wanted him gone, but that he wasn't going anywhere.
Also heard that our AD wasn't planning on getting rid of him, so there's that.

I watched about half of the 1st qtr and I'd seen enough. Normally if I'm not able to watch a game, I'm always checking on the score, didn't even bother to for this one. Absolute laugher from start to finish, and the Louisville game has always been a game as fans we get up for, never had that feeling at all even leading up to it.
Nothing else more to say that ain't already been said about Stoops, he is pretty much defiant at this point, and Barnhardt is too delusional to see that.
Already seen some of the dominoes fall, as several commits, mainly the highest rated running back that Kentucky had ever received a commitment from, flipped to Missouri. Few have already entered the portal as well. Think this was on the heels of rumors that Vince Marrow was leaving to take a job with Louisville, but Marrow himself shut those down that he would be staying at Kentucky. He is the guy that does the bulk of the recruiting, but doesn't matter how much recruiting you do and talent you bring in if the coach does a piss poor job at player development.
Obvious name for a new HC would be Jon Sumrall, but he is a hot name amongst the P5 openings, he is already being linked to the UNC HC job.

Thre dominoes are falling now for the Cats. Hope I am wrong but I have a bad feeling we are about to see some dark times ahead of us.

Not looking good, Dane Key entered the portal yesterday, and I'm sure he will be a hot commodity around the country, top schools will be looking at him. Figured Barion Brown would enter soon enough, he was a dynamic playmaker especially in the open field, but he has struggled with drops at the same time since last season. I'm sure there will be plenty more enter the portal, at that point do you think Stoops wants to go into a rebuild? The only hope is that he doesn't and another job (highly unlikely) comes calling.

The transfer in list better be robust or next season will be worst than this ne.
