Boyd led in this game by 10 at halftime and it was well into the 3rd quarter before Great Crossing took a lead. It was close the remainder of the game.

Boyd looked pretty good in this, shot it very well. Great Crossing did not, they were sloppy and didn't control the ball well. Good early test for both teams.

GC obviously #1 team in the state w/ the #1 player in the state.

Great showing by Boyd Co, by the looks of it they could've easily won this game. Wouldn't mind seeing them break through the 16th and get past Ashland to get to Rupp.

BC vs GC was a great game to watch. A lot of talent on both sides. BC leading going into the 4th quarter but the size of Moreano at 7ft tall is hard to deal with on the high school level. The announcers even addressed the disparity in the foul shooting in the game as in the Region vs APB for Boyd. I thought it was very accurate assessment of the difference the calling of officials can make in an outcome of a game. I don't know what the total count of free throws GC shot but I know in the third quarter the announcers mention GC was 8-12 and BC hadn't shot any at that point. Looked to be a very physical game. I like what BC is doing at for the program and scheduling scrimmages of that kind of coverage. That only helps the school and kids of that program. Game was really fun to watch! Looking at BC schedule with 7 home games and the level of talent they play is second to none when it comes to strength of schedule.

I heard that Moreno of Great Crossing was recently injured in either practice or a scrimmage. The person who told me didn’t have many details. However, I haven’t seen it mentioned on any sites so it may be inaccurate news.
