If we keep playing hard, fighting through adversity, finding ways to win, gradually get those scissors out and sharpen them little by little.
Come April those scissors will come in handy when we're cutting the nets down as National Champions baby!
Whooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
I can't help it I'm still pumped up about this team
Pope made it clear that Kentucky basketball will be relentless under his leadership. He said, “If you come play Kentucky. Then you're going to play for 40 minutes. We're not going away. We're not backing down. We're not changing. We're going to keep coming and coming; that doesn't mean we are going to win every game. It means that you're going to have your hands full, and you're not going to be able to breathe for 40 straight minutes”

We'll probably have a much better idea how much this win meant after Duke plays at Arizona (11/22) and vs. Kansas (11/26) and after we play a Tuesday-Saturday at Clemson (12/3) and vs. Gonzaga (12/7).
Know it might have sounded like sour grapes from Scheyer, but if Maluach is healthy throughout the game, we probably see a much different result.
If a healthy Duke plays well at home against a healthy Kansas and Kentucky beats a healthy Gonzaga, then we're probably in for an amazing season. Until I see those two outcomes, I'm going to enjoy the win but pump the breaks on expectations that are too lofty.
