Braxton Keathley with a cool 51 points tonight and probably didn’t miss but 5 or 6 shots the whole game. One of the best individual performances I’ve ever witnessed. The last 3 games have seen him with 51, 36 and I believe 31 and they’ve been within the flow of the offense. Prestonsburg now with a 3 game winning streak and have still yet to play a single home game. Great job by the Blackcats this week!

Best performance of the year not only from Keithley but from the team as a whole. Mingo isn’t great but they aren’t as bad as this score reflects, Pburg just played an amazing basketball game. Obviously, the game flowed through Keithley, as it should. He’s the most talented player on the floor every night, but he did a much better job than he usually does recognizing that if he’s double teamed then someone else is open. Normally he forces up a prayer when he’s doubled in the paint but instead of doing that last night he hit open guys on kickout passes and those guys hit their shots, which forced Mingo to stop doubling him and the result was 51 points from him! It was fun to watch because we finally got to see this team play the way that a lot of us have been hoping they would play. If Keithley continues to grow not just as a talented scorer but as a basketball player like he did last night then this team is going to be a handful during tournament time.
