Pikeville at Boyd County 11/01
#1
Pikeville vs Boyd County. Thoughts?
#2
Again hopefully Pikeville but I am taking Boyd county
#3
I can’t see Pikeville losing this game.
#4
Boyd County will come out swinging, but I'm hoping for another rainy rematch where Pikeville can ground game a win.

Pikeville 21
Boyd 7
#5
Taking Pikeville because I believe in their defensive coordinator. But if their offense continues to suffer because of play calling, anyone with a pulse has a chance to beat them so I won’t be surprised by any outcome this game or any after the first 2 rounds of the playoffs. Panthers could take a seat early this year.
#6
No way Boyd wins this game
#7
Realistically Boyd isn’t very good. Pikeville by a comfortable margin.

Pikeville 35
Boyd 7

I love when all the Rammies come on a Pikeville thread and say it’s going to be a beat down by pikeville knowing they are just blowing smoke out but I believe if Pikeville plays for 4 quarters they will win but Pikeville has let down to many times in the games and I have seen it in every game and they should have beat Raceland by a lot more too

My opinion is based on living in this area and knowing Boyd traditionally isn’t a good football program.  This is a game that should never be close.
#10
Does a win for Pikeville help them jump Hazard (if they beat Clay)?
#11
Boyd either wins a close game or Pikeville wins by 2+ scores.
#12
Boyd is a jekyll and hyde team. If they are playing at their best, they can play with most teams. That being said they can look pretty bad at times too. I think Pikeville wins, but it all depends on which Boyd team shows up as to what the score is.
#13
This game doesn't depend on which Boyd County team shows up. If Pikeville plays their B game, they will win comfortably. Problem is they have not played a complete game all season so maybe that is just who they are. I keep waiting for them to take off and it has not happened.

I always respect your opinion but not this one Boyd just put a whipping on a LC that has its up and downs this year and if Pikeville was playing good football I would agree but they are not so it’s not me knowing much about Boyd County as it is pikeville

I can respect that.  I guess I’m looking at this from a lense of what I typically expect from Pikeville.

If Pikeville loses this game they should drop football
#17
Boyd County also had Bell County beat earlier in the year before self imploding and losing late. Looking at there losses they don’t really seem to have a bad one. This could be a good game. This last week of play will have all eyes on it for Class 1A folks.
#18
Pikeville will win and everyone will still think they are in serious trouble going into the playoffs. Truthfully, Pikeville will play probably 2 teams with a pulse throughout the entire playoffs. Just gotta have their B/B+ game to win another title.

True story. Unfortunately the only game they graded out B/B+ was GRC, who had to get up at zero dark 30 and take a long bus ride to Pikeville for a noon game.

Won't drop football no matter what happens Friday. Easiest part of the schedule coming up

Tough one to pick. Leaning toward Pikeville in a close one!

Repeat schedule 365 days per year. His day starts and ends in that basement. Poor devil!
#26
Pikeville wins this one easily. Pikeville is still a helluva ball team
#27
Poor old RAD starts out the season with speed all over the field and all kinds of hype then they lose and nobody every hears from him until next year then back to the fastest team on turf and going to body slam all opponents but it is fun to read his posts
