Series History: Frederick Douglass leads 6-0 all-time | The Broncos won 34-13 last season.
The Broncos are 6-0 vs. Bryan Station all-time and Douglass outscoring the Defenders in those 6 games 229-40. Douglass will put their now 30-0 record vs the other 5 Lexington public schools and a 32-0 record vs. all schools in Lexington. As we all know nothing always will stay the same and are records are broken at some time. The question is will this be the year? One thing is for certain Coach Hawkins has definitely turn the Defender program around while they still have never had a one score game vs. the Broncos since he has taken over the program the games have been much more competitive except for the Broncos undefeated 2022 season. I think if it is the Douglass team that played vs. Madison Central this past Friday or the one or that continued to turn the ball over vs. Trinity or even the team that took their foot of the gas in the 2nd half of the Manual game then yes this could be the year that the streak ends. However, if it is the Douglass team that played Bowling Green, Corbin, or Male then I think the streak will continue until next season unless they meet a Lexington team in this year's playoffs.
This game as it has been for, I believe the past 3 seasons will be a Saturday game with a 12:00pm kickoff. The game will be on NFHS Network as well as Gilcod.

Douglas will dominate this game. Not sure station can play on the level it takes to beat Douglas. Seen Station a while back and was shocked how sloppily they played. I remember Jaws the running back from his days at Elkhorn But they did not have a scheme that really got him in good spots to make plays. Kid would be rushing for about a 1000 right now at FC!!! We miss you Jaws!

Well it just you know nothing about it and always you try to make it look like it is something that Douglass is doing. Douglass or Station has nothing to do with this decision it was made by the high school Chief of Schools for Fayette and backed/supported by Superintendent Liggins.

FD in dominate fashion. They will be looking to prove a point after a close one with Madison Central last week

We all “know” the answer to your question- Cafe Mocha! You do, too.
Did you watch the Kamala Harris interview on FOX? Some people just aren’t going to answer a real question.

Douglass leads 3-0 and are in the Station redzone for the 2nd time in 2 possessions.
Station gets an interception at their own 1 yard line to stop another score by the Broncos.
Station picks up their first first down of the game as the first quarter ends with Douglass leading 3-0.
Douglass defense after 2 Defender first downs forces another punt. Douglass will take over at their own 42 yard line. Bryan Station is doing a good job of kicking away from Chenault.
Douglass being unpipelined turns an 18 yard gain into a loss of 53 yards taking away the 18 yard gain then the two penalties for 25 yards.
That has to be demoralizing for the Station defense Douglass had a 1st and 35 and in 4 downs pickup a first down and have it 1st and 10 from the Sation 40.
Watts with 29 yard run have it first and 10 at the Station 12 yard line. Douglass has been in the Station redzone all 3 times they have had the ball but only have 3 points so far.
Touchdown Broncos they now led Station 10-0 with 6 minutes to play in the first half.
This is a big possession for the Defenders if they punt again and let Douglass get a chance to double up could be the difference in this one.
Broncos defense is dominating the Station offense so far this half and the Douglass offense take over on their own 41 with 4:13 left in the first half.

Douglass will get the ball to start the 2nd half. Bryan Station has to feel fortunate to only be down 10-0.
They did dominate in all phases of the game except on the scoreboard. Douglass gets the ball to start the 3rd quarter and if they score a touchdown it will be tough for the Defenders.

Look for a big dose of Smith, Watts, and Talbert this drive and half hopefully.
A big gain on a wide-receiver screen to Dakri Talbert for a gain of about 20. A long run by Douglass for another first down now at the Station 14 and into the Defenders redzone again.
Another holding penalty by Douglass takes off a good run by Smith and back them up to the Station 22 for a first and 20. Douglass penalties and turnovers keeping the Defenders in this one
Touchdown Douglass they now led 17-0.
A big hit by the Douglass by Josiah Lemond (KSR's Ryan Lemond's son) forces a fumble recovered by Douglass at the Station 20 yard line.
Another touchdown by sophomore Dakri Talbert his 3rd today to make it now 24-0 Broncos with still 6:43 to play in the 3rd quarter. Douglass taking complete control of this game.
Douglass defense gets yet another 3 and out for the Defender offense.
Station gets their first punt by Douglass this half after a motion penalty stalls the drive. Station will take over at their own 40 yard line their best field position of the game.
Douglass gets a turnover on downs as Washington just ran out of bounds with no one to throw to. This is all but over.
Cedric Works Jr. the Kentucky 4-star DE recruit is having his way today vs. the Defender O-line.
Station finally gets into the Bronco redzone for the first time today with under 3 minutes to go have it 4th and 1 just inside the Douglass 5 yard line.
Bryan Station gets on the board with 1:04 to play to make it now 24-6 Douglass the two point conversion fails.
Final 24-6 Douglass wins.
