Jet, VanH, Westside, Granny, and other music lovers, I'm looking to hear some of favorite Old School songs from any decade, particularly interested in 60's thru '80's that make you feel good whenever you hear them come on the radio. You tap your foot, sing along, maybe roll down the windows and let it blast away your blues for the day. I haven't had a lot to feel good about since mom died last summer so I appreciate a good old song that washes away the pain for a few minutes and takes me back to a more joyful time in life. Maybe you guys can help. Here's one I heard the other day that had me tapping my foot and singing along. Enjoy:

This was my favorite song in 1972. I played it over and over and over. It made me happy then and still makes me happy today. I bet Granny and Jet both remember this one.
My favorite one-hit wonder. Probably always will be !!!
"Driver's Seat," with the band perfoming. The drummer's ridiculous perfection with that 4/4 beat throughout the song is epic.
