With all the coaching changes this past season in the local area with some of the top schools in the 13th Region, who do you have as the spoiler and who gets the preseason hype going into August. Who are some of the players to lookout for locally and what new coach is going to make the biggest noise in the 13th Region out of the new hires.

I heard Midland has the most D1 talent returning in West Virginia in their class. So, lots of talent there in a pool of 1000 boys in a school with 2000 enrollment.

FACT !!!  A bunch of kids with multiple D1 offers.   I have two bedrooms and a basement available for free lodging. I'm a good cook, as well.

No in the comparison. But what I hope for Salmons sake is he lets his defensive players unleash at the line of scrimmage and blitzes his linebackers. Based on the film I have watched he does that. Then of course change his defense according to the offensive sets and be able to do so on a dime.  But of course, I will have to see film before I can make too much of anything about him. I don't want to compare Cabell Midland. I want to compare in Class 4A against the power 5 or 6 teams being Johnson Central, Boyle, Covington Catholic, Paducah Tilghman, Franklin County and Ashland. When the dust settles, film will tell all. Doesn't matter who the coach is, the ability to make in game adjustments and see talent and use it is a skill set that is needed. He has a astonishing record. But I did as well when I played Nerf back in the day.

The inability , and/or unwillingness, to make adjustments have killed us the last two or three campaigns. Probably cost us a title or two.
