I picked up all but the final for Betsy Lane on the radio. Either 37 or 39. Paintsvile scored 104. Turned if off before they gave scoring stats.
Freshman played majority of final quater, even some middle schoolers got in the game. Congrats Tigers!

We'll be alright come season's end Bobcats.

I knew it was gonna be ugly when I got home and Paintsville was up 20+ to 4 in the first quarter and 3 minutes still remainin.
12-04-2007, 11:12 PM
Wow !!!!!!!!!!! I picked the tigers, but I didn't expect this! I still think the bobcats will settle down and may be the team to beat in the 58th.

Congrats Tigers

This may be the best I've seen this group of players every play. They were giving up open looks to get better looks, playing with heart, and very good defense. Great intensity by the Tigers tonight. They were shooting the ball extremely well all night. Overall, very impressed by the way Paintsville played tonight. Congrats.

Hope my bobcats can get it together soon. No chemistry with this team yet. Maybe coach Hall can bring them together soon. If Newman can get back it will help but tonight it wouldn't have made much difference, telegraphing passes, terrible shooting, no defence, and worse that anything no heart! But don't get me wrong, i'll still be there Friday night.
Still hoping.

That young team will be fine. Coach Hall will develop those young men into a good basketball team. Things didn't go right for them from the get go but I'll bet Brian will get the most out of them by the middle of the season.

That is a massacre, grats Paintsville.

I believe your right. I for one was glad to see Brian come to BL when Rose had to leave. And although they did return some starters from last year they're not the scorers that Collins and Whit were. Good ball handlers but not scorers. Keathley being the exception but he to is hot and cold it seems. But i'm with you if its there, Coach Hall will find it!

Congrats Paintsville. Keep your heads up BL.

Wow, sounds like Betsy Layne got slaughtered. It's still early in the season, both teams have plenty of time to improve!
12-05-2007, 06:23 PM
wow this was a beating !!! congrats to paintsville
12-05-2007, 06:25 PM
Congrats paintsville....bl is in trouble this year without newman as you can tell from this score...no offense for bl this game....they need someone to step up and step up fast....
12-05-2007, 10:21 PM
I really doubt that Newman would have put up 60 points. He would have helped, but not that much.
12-05-2007, 10:27 PM
newman wouldnt have had to much of an impact, because paintsville on ball pressure was just to much. It might have been 104-50 if he had played.
