Released March 1, 1973 .
Spent just a single week at #1 on the Billboard chart but spent almost 1,000 non-consecutive weeks on that same chart. 1,000 weeks!!! From 1973 until early 1990!!!! 10 songs over 43 minutes that changed everything. 50 million copies sold and counting. One of the most influential LP's of all time. Simple but awesome album cover, too. Do you know this album? I bet JP and VH do.

Keeping with the topic of classic rock albums, do you folks have a favorite classic rock album?
I LOVE Boston's 1976 self-titled debut album. Probably my favorite album of all time. Eight songs, all of which are simply epic. When this album came out it was like nothing we had ever heard before. And to think, it was all produced in one man's basement.
