Breathitt 7-5.
#1
Is this who they are?  Look like a very average 14 th region team at the present.  Is there anything to be fixed or is this who they are
#2
If John Noble couldn’t fix it then I’d say yes, this is who they are. Coaching really isn’t all that hard so it’s hard to blame it on a coach. 7-5 is better than 0-12. Could be a lot worse than 7-5. You know Wannacat, all that matters is winning them games at the regional tournament and getting to Rupp. You can throw a season record out the window. They could go 28-0 and lose first round of the region or in any round and they would want the coaches head up on the wall at Breathitt. When it’s all said and done, it lays on the players shoulders to carry out the game plan. Those kids playing have been playing together for 6 years now, maybe just maybe that’s who they are. They have had an abundance of time and opportunity to prove themselves.

Breathitt will be fine. The 14th isn’t a very strong region, I think there’s 3-4 teams that can win on any given night including Breathitt.. the region is at Perry, so that gives them a small advantage, but it’s gonna be interesting
#4
Yep all Breathitt has to do is show up and play 3 solid games, not great games, just have good performances. Easily done especially if Beverly can’t play this season for Perry due to ankle injury.

What’s the coaching plans? I see a lot of upset parents and fans on Facebook and Twitter.
#6
With the coaching transitions and no leadership I’m just impressed they have a winning record

Well a couple parents complained about arch so he said screw it and left. Now Kyle had to step in because it’s January and I’d say any coach worth his salt is coaching a team already. Do you not think this is problems this deep in the season? If not you live a very dysfunctional life haha

Kyle Moore could end up being the Hero of Breathitt County. Could end up being good situation for him. He has a ton of experience with crazy parents so it’s nothing new to him and the players respect him. I honestly think Breathitt will be a lot better now.

I think with new coaching staff that Morale will be up a ton. It has been toxic at Breathitt and I think that turns around.

bud i was actually curious about the problems going on cause i couldn’t find anyone on here giving a descriptive answer of what the ruckus in breathitt was about and why the coach stepped down, but my bad i’ll keep my honest curiosity outside of the drama in jackson
#12
My bad then.. thought you was being a smart a$$

Probably from just losing more than anything I would say Gridiron. Winning fixes a lot of things. Breathitt Bad Boys gonna be winning a lot more now I’d say.

I think Kyle will steady the ship IF anyone can.

Some of the things I am hearing on the parents and grandparents behavior over the past few weeks is down right embarrassing.

If would take a fool to want the Breathitt job regardless of the talent on the roster.

Is it all the Seniors parents or the under classmans?

Kyle is a great guy, but it's a lot to ask a guy who has never coached basketball to step in and be the savior. Plus, he has offseason football workouts and other things to worry about, with him being the athletic director. I just feel like the Administration dropped the ball, with everything that has went on over the past offseason. You can't allow parents to run the program, and this is proof of why it hasn't and never will work. If B.B. would have been healthy, I believe he would have put some of these parents in their place, but he just didn't have the energy to do so. Hopefully, Kyle can work miracles and have this team ready to compete for an All A title, here in the next week. Also, is Arch still on the coaching staff?

I was wondering if he had ever coached basketball. I know Kyle was a great athlete and does a great job with football. Just seems to be a tall task to ask him to come in and take over. Of course he does already have some interaction with these players and their parents so that may be the plus side to all of this. Allowing this much influence from the parents have really put them in a tough situation. I hope Kyle the best and hope he is able to right the ship.

Everyone should have known when they ran Noble out of town with the talent he had coming back, that the situation with those parents and admin was a s-show.

All of the above. I am aware of 4 players' families that are doing most of the complaining. Just so happen 2 of them are the same family i.e. same grandpa. Also the 3rd player I am referencing is a great nephew to this same grandpa. I

I don't know how true they are but I am hearing rumors  that these same families  are upset with the administration of the school system and maybe are looking to revoke a certain superintendent's contract.
I can't confirm this personally as I am out of town at the moment.

Some of these families need to realize what their children, nephews, grandchildren are. Not everyone is going to be a star. Not everyone is going to get 15 shots a night. Accept your role or quit.

This is the problem at so many places. Too many parents/families can't accept the role more than the players. They are the ones in the ears of the kids and it is sad.

Kyle’s Momma was one of the best basketball players I ever watched and a damn good coach! Kyle also played basketball and was a great athlete. I think he can handle coaching, knows enough about the game and coaching techniques, and he knows most of these kids from football. Whatever he said at halftime sure lit a fire under their tails, just a dumb move at the end to shoot a backwards layup with the lead..smh..but anyways, I have faith Kyle can get attitudes under control and tell the parents, some of whom he went to school with, to butt out!
