College Football Playoff board unanimously votes to expand CFP to 12 teams by 2026

The College Football Playoffs are expanding. The news comes on the heels of Thursday night's slate of thrilling contests to kick off Week 1. According to Ross Dellenger of Sports Illustrated, the expansion could come in 2024 or 2025, but will be decided by the commissioners, as will the format of the tournament.
