Powell Co. Middle School v/s Estill Co. Middle School

irateSho The Powell Co. Middle School Pirates had a sweep over Estill Co. at Hoover Niece Stadium tonight. The 7th grade team won 28-12. It was 28 -0 with about 4 or 5 min to go in the game. Estill added a few late scores to make it look interesting.
The 8th grade team won 30-20. I think that gave them a tie for 2nd. Good job Little Pirates. You won you last 4 games. You didn't make the playoffs but gave us some exciting games to watch. The future looks good at Powell. Some great talent coming up next year. Now hit those weights boys. Tongue

the middle school has playoffs???? well. thats pretty cool. but good jod middle school pirates!!!! at least there is one powell football team that can beat estill!!!!!

The future for Powell is looking up, for sure. I saw a little dude on PMS 8th grade take down a boy three times his size from Estill! Way to go Pirates!
