Scott Co. won 3 of the first 4 meetings their last victory was in the district championship game 3 years ago in 2018. Since that game Frederick Douglass has won that last 4 games by a combined score of 164-35 including a 35-0 win on Sept. 24. I'd say Douglass wins by double digits.

Was speaking with someone recently who said majority of fb talent is going to Great Crossing because the kids do not want to be limited to playing in the wing-t.

Douglass hangs as many as they want on Scott Co. Scott Co was lucky to get out last week alive, they've got some boys banged up pretty bad and missing their 2 big horses they love to run behind. Heard a couple weeks ago that SC is losing so many kids to Great Crossing that they'll be dropping to 4A in the next realignment and Great Crossing is going to 6A.

Enrollment between the 2 County schools will even up soon enough MI as a 2nd new hs is being built to replace the current Scott County building. Ultimately both schools will be in 6a.

Your resources have been giving you incorrect information.  The senior and junior classes got split pretty evenly among the football talent between the two schools.
Scott Co Sophomore and Freshman Classes are really good.  The Freshman class when undefeated beating Male, FD, Bryan Station, Madison Central, and Great Crossing twice.  The only loss the Sophomores had was to LCA JV team by one score.

Great crossing is getting all of the basketball talent and will be a threat to win a couple titles over the next 4 years.
Scott County is getting all of the football talent and will be in the hunt 2 out of the next 3 years.

As far as football class Great Crossing will be Class 6A in new alignment and Scott County will be 5A.  Great Crossing will not be close to being in 5A and Scott Co will be mid-size 5A school.  No chance of them moving to 4A or 6A.

Tonight's game should be similar to the first game with FD winning handily. However this will be the last time FD beats Scott Co anytime in the near future. I personally think the 5A title will go to South Warren.

Douglass will be without two of their top defensive linebackers in Davis Joyner and Corey Gamble with injuries.

22 seconds in the Broncos lead 7-0. For some reason the Cardinals kick it short to start the game to Dane Key after a good run back the Broncos score on their 2nd play.

Scott mix the game plan up and threw on 4 of the first 5 plays and in only a minute and :24 seconds they tie it at 7.

I guess Scott Co. never learned their lesson from the kickoff they again kicked it to Key in the same place. This time he took it 78 yards in only :10 seconds to the house. It is 14-7 Broncos with 10:04 left in the 1st quarter.

28-7 Douglass after the first quarter.

Douglass scores again the two point conversion is good Douglass leads 42-7 with 1:44 left in the half.
