Since this is about the game... I guess I'll just start with how the game was reffed. One of the refs used to play for Prestonsburg. From what I hear, he used to be one of the best players on the team! And if you noticed, he stayed on the sidelines with Prestonsburg. Fair? I don't think so. I guess they gotta cheat through out the whole thing! :Clap: :Clap:

My point was that there is nothing that an internet forum can do about the situation. As sad as it is the only people that can help are the police, school administration and the people of Prestonsburg. I don't have a problem with it being mentioned I just have a problem with the way it was mentioned.

Oh it was a great game, Better then what the score showed, They didnt stop us we stopped ourselves. Also when ever we had the ball at the 1 yard line and they said Coty didnt get in, Hell half his body was across the line and laying in the endzone when they blew the whistle.
And back to the topic of items stolen, The police wasnt to worried about it. As far as having to take someone with you just to sit and watch the kids stuff in the locker room is just crazy. They knew that the visitors used the gym and the locker room there and yet they allowed everyone and there brother in there while we was there and after we left.

The visitors locker room at Russell is unlocked the entire game and it would be very easy to go into the back door and take anything you want.

It is a sad state that anyone would stoop so low as to steal off of anyone. I think we should adopt some of the other country's policies such as chopping off hands if they are caught. That might send a message to other would be thieves out there.

well i have to say that the players or coaches couldnt have been responsible for the theft b/c there job is to play and coach, so i dont see y LC had to go through our tunnel in which no visiting team is supposed to do(its posted)....and beating the tin with their fists and tearin down our signs....so if u say were too redneck then how do u respond to this

I must be missing something here because I as a fan had to walk through that tunnel to get to the track/field-didn't see any other way in there so I assume that's why our team walked though it as well?
I DIDN'T THINK THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE FANS OR ANYONE ELSE WAS DISRESPECTFUL? Several actually apologized about what happened. But it is a shame that a facilty of that stature doesn't provide a lock on the door. Does the home team locker room have a lock? Is the school responsible for replacing the stolen items? Some of the guys lost pretty valuable things, things that were with them because they cam to the bus straight from school. It's too bad that this happened and I'm sure noone is blaming the team or coaches. I know Coach Derosett was upset about it......

Oh yea, the game..... better but not good. Yea, a few bad calls and if they are obvious to me, they must be bad...
the holes Pburg ran through were huge!! We cannot seem to tackle consistantly. We occasionally get the awesome one but then we miss 8 or 10.
I don't know what the answer is but we'll keep cheering them on, hoping every week is better.

Lawrence County you have no need to worry because the administration at Prestonsburg are gonna question Prestonsburg students and parents. And there are camera's every where around and in that school. So they will find out who did and try to return there things back to them. If the things don't get returned I'm sure that Prestonsburg will send them somthing that could replace there belongings. Once again, its asshame that this happend and I'm sorry for what someone in Prestonsburg did.

Myself and several others had to walk through the tunnel as well. I don't see what the harm was.

And I don't know for sure, but I am just going to guess that the Pburg team does have a locking door. None of their stuff was taken. And if you have to go to the extent of putting ip camera around the school/in the school.. shouldn't it be obvious to put locks on the doors? I suppose same would go for Russell.. since PBurg keeps getting compared to them.

And from what Ive heard, the school is responsible for the stolen things. Some of these kids had expensive items & some kids had things that were non-replaceable I am sure. I just believe it's a shame that this had to happen. It's sad.

Prestonsburg may have won the game. But, Lawrence came out as the better team. Going to a school & having your belongings taken? Horrible!! Some people just don't have class. And sure, Prestonsburg won & is being congratulated.. but, it doesn't help their image with everyone looking down on their school for having things taken. That event reflects on the whole school. Not just the fans/staff/administration/law enforcement. It reflect on them all.

Pburg is playing some good football right now... iv been a fan since 04 when they beat the breaks off a very solid Brethit County team when they had the players like Jake Hunley and Eli Warren and Justin Lamb
