Don’t let it get quiet now that the season is over
#1
For some like myself, I come here to try to gauge teams all across this state. At the core of it, I’m just a high school football fan.

Because of COVID-19, the season started late, had in-season cancellations and now it is finished for everyone.

I missed all the season previews, thoughts and predictions before the season and truthfully, we didn’t know because most of us were shocked that the season happened.

But now all of us are home. Many waiting on the switch to basketball. But I still hope to see relevant threads about the off-season and good conversation to be had. Even if some of it is poking the bear as long as it’s in good fun.

Season has been over for about 3 hours and I already miss it. Bring on the 2021 season!

i too hope that the talk of high school football continues on.this covid stuff is just a nightmare for all of us.changes way too many things in everyday life.because of the covid changing things i really think there were a lot of teams that didnt know themselves.covid even changed the way a team practiced, then you may play a scheduled game then the next three weeks you didnt play because of cancellations.their is no way a team is going to come together and gel by the time the playoffs are here.just a crazy silly season.also congrats on all the teams that made it to the playoffs and to the winners in each class.all you guys stay safe and on to the new season.

Dealing with the covid issue all after all this time here at the household. Unfortunately.

Having to stay at home for next couple weeks is gonna suck so seeing this happen to the kids makes it much worse.

Looking forward to the Pville vs Pville chatter. Rams may be the best of the three.

They had a pretty special freshman class that was one of the more complete teams I’ve seen at the middle school level. Hopefully they’ll build all around that.

Don’t expect much P’Ville vs P’Ville chatter. Should just be like it was this year and every other year. In 1A “It’s Pikeville then a BIG Gap, THEN........everyone else” that should begin around mid week next week!
