Trigg County @ Paducah Tilghman 11/20
#1
Trigg County will roll into Paducah as a huge underdog. The Wildcats took a 63-26 thrashing in the same venue back in September on their way to a 3-6 season. They are one of the few teams to complete all 9 of their schedule games. Hopefully, that full slate game experience will prepare them for an improved showing come Friday night.

As for Paducah Tilghman, complete opposite. They missed the last three games due to COVID cancellations and their season has been all over the place. Not something unexpected from such a young team, though. Lost the season opener to a solid Graves County team. Won the next three games and appeared to be finding themselves. Two of those were road wins and looked good against Calloway Co and Murray. Then came the Mayfield game and a 36-6 pounding that seem to deflate the Blue Tornado optimistic youth. The next week they traveled to Union County and got dismantled 49-7 by a team/program they are accustom to having their way with. Will the rust of sitting since mid October show Friday night? Is their confidence shaken? Maybe the time has allowed the youngsters to forget the last two games of bad losses. Got to believe they are thirsting to be back on the field in game action.

Only some crazy combination of all these intangibles going against Tilghman can keep Trigg County in this game. But hey, it is high school football and craziness happens from time to time.
