Breathitt County @ Paintsville 11/6 (Cancelled)
#1
Breathitt is coming off a disappointing loss, to an average Pike County Central team, while Paintsville is coming off a loss, to a much improved Letcher County Central team. I have been hearing that Paintsville is limping into the playoffs and may sit numerous starters in this game due to injury. If that's the case, this game could be competitive, but if Paintsville is at, or near 100%, I believe the Tigers have too much firepower, for the Bobcats to contain. With Breathitt being a young team, they will get better with each passing game, but it will be a tall task to go to Paintsville and get a win. If Paintsville is healthy, the Tigers win 35-14, if they are banged up, they win 35-28.

Just seen this game is canceled, may not be true but just seen it on Twitter from Willie Hope

This game already a covid victim.

Per WYMT reporter, game has been cancelled. It is now a race to the next bare pulse victim for the Tiggers......

In all seriousness I’m sorry to hear this for the kids. Hope they land someone soon.

This whole season has been a waste, in my opinion. I agree, I hate it for the kids.

Before I get flammed...I am kidding when I say....There is a team just across town that has an open date.  :)

Paintsville has plenty of time to find a worse team with a better record...call Paintsville bad teams, operators are standing by...

I would say Paintsville and Pikeville are in a bidding war for said team.. although it’s only wrong if Paintsville picks up a game ?

Pikeville and Paintsville should play...oh wait lol

I honestly would rather Paintsville get healthy than play anyone. We limped into the state finals last year and got crushed. Obviously Pikeville was the major reason why but we were also a shell of the team they faced in the regular season due to injuries.

^^^Good lord could have added all the Floyd teams to Paintsville roster plus Lawrence, Martin and Magoffin and it still would have been a running clock.

Y’all won 9-8 in the regular season. If you don’t think injuries affect Class A football then stop posting haha it is embarrassing lol

Only a Pikeville fan would say they could running clock the equivalent to a 6A team. Good Lord have mercy.

Also, Pikeville was winning last year even if we were 100%, very solid football team. I was just saying we could have played better.
#16
^Yep, 0-43 and could have been 0-65. Could have played better.

Who was injured last year for paintsville besides the lineman that broke his foot or whatever? I don’t recall anyone being out.
#19
^^^ JP you said running clock not just be ranked ahead of them. But good job wasting your time looking all of that up, I’m actually impressed lol

Last year Paintsville lost their center in the state semi finals, young Phelps was out and JW Phelps played at about 60% and probably would have sat out if it wasn’t his last game. Several others were badly banged up from playing 3 highly competitive games in a row. Williamsburg, Raceland, and to a lessor extent KCD. Pikeville was an excellent team but unlike last year, I would love to play in the finals and have a fighting chance if we are lucky enough to make it there.

All the 5 or 6A teams who can't beat a solid 1A team and willing to travel please call Paintsville at once...they will give you a half a tank of gas and Hardees coupons for your trouble...

Thank you for considering us a solid team, I know that must have been difficult to type.

Didn't say Paintsville was solid, said they wanted a team who couldn't beat a solid team hehehe

Yeah, I didn’t think you had it in you lol

If that’s all we offer a team to play, Pikeville’s offer would completely blow that out of the water. I shutter to think what you personally would offer an opposing coaching staff at this point.

Waste of time looking for anything like that 2000. Many “Men” in our area will give credit to opposing programs especially successful programs but “This fella” Ain’t one of em!

^^^You guys are getting waaay too sensitive, can't even kid around with you anymore!!!
I've said more than once I'm fine with Paintsville 364 days a year! But when your program pulls a stunt like it did with LCA you know you are going to get some serious ribbing lol...
