Holy moly! Big win for the rockets! Congrats guys! Sincerely. I doubted you. Bell county obviously has some quirks to knot out. I knew it would be close but dang them tables took a swift turn and now my jaw is hurting! Lol. Don't celebrate too much fellas, focus on next week. Good luck

Dud got outcoached tonight. A lot of kinks to work out on offense. Defense played well to be on the field all night. Rock QB is a hard nosed kid. On to next week

Rock kept the ball 7 minutes longer and was enough to do just like I said wear down the defense. Hands on hips made for some big first downs on 3rd and 4th down. Great job I in the trenches very well evenly matched equally dominating by both squads Rock wasn’t to be denied tonight just wanted it more. Bell has a great defense but Rock showed that you can wear down even great defenses. Dudley got out coached which doesn’t happen often. Bell offense tested our secondary and normally that would work but not this year our pass D is equally as good if not better than our run D. Coming into tonight our D forced 10 turnovers 5 fumbles and 5 interceptions tonight it forced 3 more 1 fumble and 2 interceptions and Rock scored on 2 of the 3. Like I said all week it would be a slobber knocker of a game and I liked our chances. Can Rock get in the top 10 now please? I’m sure we will see Bell again but at least this time they will have to come back to the Rock! Good luck rest of the season until we meet again!

Dud is a living legend. Much respect just hearing his wisdom on the game & I will stand by that. I wouldn't call it out coached more like out played. If these coaches could play again lawd have mercy... . I wouldn't take any of his teams for granted even after a loss this early in the season. Bell will be ready. Aside from that, great win rock. Y'all are full of surprises

Turnovers and flags. It will be a good rematch in a few weeks. Good high school football game tonight . Congrats to Rock but Bell will be back to work Monday. Stuff happens

I don’t know if you can say that rock wore down a defense that started with the backs against the wall twice on the two scores. I think it was the play of rocks defense that made the difference. Bell had at least 3 if not more 4th and short stops. And rock gave bell plenty of opportunities late to win but couldn’t get the ball moving. Wearing down a defense isn’t what happened tonight, but a stalemate of offenses where field position changed everything.

When hands are on hips of nearly the entire d line halfway thru 3rd quarter and 4th quarter as well that’s a sign of a defense that is tired. Call it whatever you want win is a win on to the next

Looks like turnovers, according to the stats were the difference maker. I'm very happy for the Rock boys. Enjoy this one and move on. Dudley will be back around if the season is allowed to continue. Can't rest on those laurels. Good luck on the rest of the year to both teams!

Every time I’ve seen him lose he does, on the flip side is it don’t happen very often, congrats to Rock would have loved to see this game and probably would have came if not under COVID restrictions.

I think we are starting to see that Letcher central is one of the 10 best teams in the mountains this year. Letcher best Rockcastle 27-8 and Rockcastle is a really good team.

Letcher is alot better then expected. They shouldnt lose to anyone besides Johnson Central the remainder of the season

The DBs made the difference. One or two offensive plays by the Rock were huge. Can't say Rock dominated the line of scrimmage. One of those games that could have gone either way. Letcher is better than people thought, but Rock didn't show up with their A game that night. It will be a tough rematch down the road, but at least it will be a home game.

I sure hope Letcher and Rock plays again next year it will be fun. I don’t know what Rockcastle returns but Letcher should be loaded the next couple of years. I thought it would be next year before Letcher was this good because they start so manny young kids but they are a year ahead of schedule. The 2 middle school teams in letcher county have been really good for the last 4 years.

I had to put some emphasis on the two linebackers for Bell county coming back from injuries and playing like beasts, 9 playing in cast and 5 with a banged up ankle but both still came out swinging in their first game back in 3 weeks. If I am not mistaken, 9 won the 13th region Defensive player of the week playing with one hand and that is some toughness out of that kid for sure. When these guys are both playing at 100% and the team as a whole be healthy I think Bell will be back on track and ready for the postseason.
