Powell County shutting down football operations for 2 weeks in the midst of a student(not on team) at the High school testing positive for Covid-19. Multiple players were going to be in quarantine after being in contact with the person during this school week. Coach Jones made this decision due to the fact multiple starters would be out and with Friday being a district game it was not worth the risk of not putting the best product on the field. Powell will reschedule Pendleton and will have 2 practices on Wednesday and Thursday 2 weeks from now to prepare for Mason County
