Both teams look to be improved. Caldwell returns several starters while Crittenden returns nearly everyone. Caldwell will be a significant favorite, so if Crittenden can keep it close (last win was 2009) they will continue to gain the respect of 1A followers. Caldwell is looking to get back into the 2A conversation in a tough district with Mayfield and Murray, they need to get off to a good start. The Rockets have closed the gap somewhat over the last few years from running clock games to respectable scores. Caldwell just proves to be a bad matchup.

Last year was a running clock. Caldwell led 36-0 in the first half before winning 36-14.

Thanks for that info, somewhat explains the statistics on the game (low yardage and fairly even)

Crittenden returns EVERYBODY including a healthy Tyler Boone (Bad injury midway through season) who is one of the best linebackers in the entire state, no matter classification.
