Lawrence County had control most of the game and was able to withstand a couple of Ashland runs with good free throw shooting and come out with the win. Congrats to the coaches and players on bringing home the 64th District Championship.

Good thing Lawrence hit those last free throws or that half court shot that was made would have tied it up or won it for Ashland instead of just getting them closer.

Ya, free throws is really what decided the game in the 4th qrtr. When Lewis went to the line that last time, I said he had to make them to win and he did. Sometimes u can just feel when a big shot like the half court buzzer beater is gonna happen. lol

Is this an upset? I didn't think LC had much this year.

I wouldn't really consider it an upset. It is the first time they have won the district, but they are 21-5 this season and they beat Ashland earlier in the season.
