Hazard, PCC, and KCC will all be making their best offers in the coming weeks.

Heard Pringle and one other..wasn’t Harris..but he is left handed... are going to KCC?? Any truth to it or just rumor?

I've heard rumors that Knott will be getting a couple Cordia kids for next season. I just don't see this working out very well for either program. Cordia is finally in a position to win the district with Knott being down a little, especially if they lose McGuire. Has there been any movement on the coaching position?

Where is McGurie going?
#8
It is being purported that McGuire wants more freedom in the offensive scheme of things and the family is pursuing other options. The ball went through him 65-70% of the time. It will be McGuire's volition where he chooses to play. The chronicles of the 14th continue onward as usual. He is a talented player and places Hazard as the front runner of the region if the transfer occurs.
#9
Heard Rex Fronafels name mentioned as the Cordias possible new coach.
#10
Hazard will be front runner with or without McGuire..but with him, they are definitely ahead of the pack for sure..
As far as him moving, I was told it’s to do with the overall program..not playing time or anything like that..wants a better experience

After some conversations, I don't see McGuire leaving Knott. BB King is a winner and that's why they brought McGuire to Knott. I look for BB to have a solid squad this year even though they are rebuilding/reloading. You never know who may land at Knott.

Who will be the next coach here? Will they try to get former Lion Mitch smith? or Hazard has two former Cordia players on their bench too. They should go after Robert Marcum, he is the best coach available in eastern Kentucky.

Macguire to hazard.

Prediction but heard from a good source that he probably will. Also heard the Napier boy from knott is not happy

Pringle was offered a car and the other boy just wanted to go with him, but I believe they are both staying at Cordia. They should have a coach in place in the next couple of weeks. Had a bunch apply, but don’t know who may get the nod. We will see.
#19
Robert Amos will be the coach. His dad John paul Amis will be assistant and his little brother Darian/Damion will be staying at the dorms with the boys. Thing is Robert never stays anywhere long. Look at his record, he’s had more jobs than Spurlock. He’s moves from school to school way to much. Doesn’t stay long anywhere he’s at. His last job, he only stayed one season. Looks like Cordia will be run by the old Perry central staff.
#20
It would be interesting to know who all had applied. If Amis and the others get the job, it would be ironic to have a Perry staff running the program within the Knott County district. This would further complicate the relationship Knott and Cordia already have or are they back on good terms?
#21
If BBx2 is correct this will be the best coaching staff ever at Cordia. Kudos to the Principal and Council. The Lion Nation needs to get behind these boys if they ever expect to win a regional crown.
#22
It is being circulated as well as validity of the above statement submitted by Basketballx2 . Even though no communique has been released it possibly could be within the near future if all parties agree. Intriguing.

Robert Amis is still at Greenup County. He's in his 2nd year I believe.
