Barr: "yes, there was spying going on"

…….and SanFranNan goes off the deep end...

Wanna bet when it all comes out that everything will be proven to be an Obama and company led attempt to take out a political foe, and then an attempted coup, when the election rigging failed?

This is so odd. I've been doing some reading about just that subject!

^^ My feelings from the get-go.

When Mueller was appointed all the libs went from cautious hope to unreasonable and desperate hope, that the President could be somehow be charged with a crime. Now that Barr has slapped them back to regular La-La Land, they're ready to settle once again for the fantastic and ridiculous charges ala the past 2 years. With a mighty assist from the media mind you, the 2020 election is now the fall back place to where most of them will retreat from which they hope to influence enough voters in order to defeat Trump.

Back in 2010 I said there is nothing Dems would not say nor was there any depth to which they would not stoop in order to get or stay in power. Now I agree the Republicans are far from the loyal opposition party I would hope for, but you don't see them doing the shenanigans that nowadays past as regular order that we've seen out of the Dems for the past decade. Cryin Chuck and San Fran have lost it in more ways than one and owing to their particular state of desperation, I look for them to make some pretty big mistakes.

If there was ever any doubt, the Mueller report removed it.
200+ pages of he said/she said about obstruction. Now lost in the narrative is the irrefutable fact that the president can fire anyone he wants to. And special counsel was in place to report on Russian interference, obstruction is a sideshow. This is how nations end up under a dictator, getting brainwashed by a few corrupt people at the top and a corrupt lying media. It's a million miracles Trump got elected. He isn't perfect (no one is) but he has saved our republic from liberals who show their evil on a daily basis and really don't even try to hide it anymore.

The sleazy tactics that the FBI used against Trump's associates and acquaintances have been used by the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies for years to obtain guilty pleas, often for charges like obstruction of justice, from targets. This is the first time that these tactics have been used in a witch hunt/fishing expedition against a sitting president, but using the unlimited resources of the federal government for political purposes is nothing new and it needs to stop.

I first realized how the federal government terrorizes American citizens by targeting friends and associates of their targets during the administration of George H. W. Bush. Lynne Martin, then a liberal, pro-abortion Republican Secretary of Labor who fancied herself a future presidential candidate, used these same tactics against small coal company executives to obtain plea bargains in coal dust sampling investigations.

As a result of Martin's abuse of the system, I have always since been skeptical of guilty pleas obtained by the federal government. They are a political tool used by politically ambitious prosecutors and other federal bureaucrats for personal advancement. If you threaten a person and their friends, whether innocent or guilty, with financial ruin and personal humiliation, many people will agree to plead guilty to offenses in exchange for light sentences, to protect their friends and families and to avoid personal bankruptcy.

Fortunately, Donald Trump had the financial resources to fight back. I hope that he signs a large stack of pardons for those who succumbed to Mueller's prosecutorial abuse of power, and for those who were convicted of crimes at trial simply because they were friends and associates of President Trump.

As sleazy a character that Paul Manafort is, the truth is that the federal government only chose to prosecute him for his dealings with the Ukrainians because he supported Trump. Federal law enforcement resources and courts should not be used as political tools and if evidence against an American citizen is weak, it should be a serious federal crime to persecute that person's friends, family, and associates to obtain additional evidence and plea bargains through unrelated prosecutions and/or threatening such prosecutions.

I wanted to hear the media's interpretation of that report last night but I just couldn't do it. Dems are scrambling for a foothold and the media is doing everything in their power to buy them time to do it.

Well, there's one thing you can count on. As soon as they can get their act together Dems will make a redoubled push to sink the Trump Presidency, and that push will be even more outrageous and lawless. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Nancy changes her mind and puts articles of impeachment on the floor. And the only reason she'll do that is to have something meaningful to slam the President with prior to the election.

The only question in my mind is whether or not Dems can successfully swing the election with non-citizen voters. Taxpayers have been screaming their heads off about illegal immigration but still, there are reportedly as many as 4,000 crossings daily. That's 4,000 everyday that will largely subsist on the taxpayer dime. The Dems have become the Party of the opposition, and any gainfully employed voter who votes for a Dem is asking to be fleeced by the government. I just don't understand what Democrats are thinking.

All the more reason for Barr to ASAP push along the investigation of the dirty tactics used by the dems and the dirty cops to manipulate the election and to destroy Trumps presidency.

Other than Fox's reporting on that you wouldn't even know, based on the reporting of the MSM, that one was even in the works.

According to what I've heard Barr is about to break it off in their hides. I hope that happens ASAP

^^ Looking at the circus antics on display before the Judiciary Committee yesterday, it would appear that House Judiciary Chair Nadler and the other rabids are prosecuting an open coup against this Republic. And make no mistake, it's waaay more than just Donald J Trump which have fallen under their crosshairs. It is the Republicans, conservative white America en toto, the Tea Party, and anybody else in general, inclined to accept the validity of the US Constitution and or the sovereign nature of the tenets of Christian morals. But I say 'open coup' because the socialist side of the Democrat Party know what's soon to come. AG Barr is intent on exacting accountability for those whom were at the forefront of the now, three year long attack on the people's will. Other than the President, AG William Barr is about the only guy who's had enough of the liberal monkey puke, and is therefore ready to call a spade for what it is. Therefore, as far as the Dems are concerned it's, 'on like Donkey Kong.' And to that possibility I say, bring it.

As for the completely sold out-to-social-justice Democrats, they have no use for anyone not willing to follow them down the liberal rabbit hole. Because over the past decade of US governance, that's where every last committee, and every last confirmation proceeding has gone. Down there where the liberal/progressive/socialist magic is strong, the law as written has no meaning and feelings are all that matter. And very regrettably, that is where the shrinking violet and chinless RINO's such as Jeff Flakey, have been more than willing to go. Reality has therefore been relegated as passé, to the bygone era prior to the year 2000. Ironically, something very drastic and existential in nature did in fact happen at about that time in our history, it is just that it had nothing to do with Y2K and everything to do with the impossibly narrow concept of social justice. Anyway and notwithstanding, since William Barr is obviously not stupid enough to play Alice, Jerrold Nadler et-al are going down the rabbit hole on national TV today on their own. See, in the eyes of La-La-Lander justice, one doesn't need witnesses anyway. The fertile though inwardly pointing imaginations of the left will do just fine to that end, thank you very much. It's a new morning on the Hill, bring on today's jabberwocky!!

Finally it would appear, the threat of accountability now suddenly seems to have become real. Thus desperate Dems are jumping spastic as their attempts to intimidate Barr so far, have fallen on deaf ears. Sitting before the House Committee, AG Barr was openly called a "liar." In addition, Senator Van Hollen, Cory Booker, Kristen Gillibrand, Adam Schiff-ty, and former Obama Veep Joe Biden are among those now calling for his resignation. This showdown between the Dems, their cozy establishment lackeys, and the DOJ, will wax historically epic.

The present working relationship between Dems and Republicans may well be the most adversarial since the days of Abraham Lincoln. Clever and devious Dems who were in Lincoln's time the adamant proponents of slavery as you will recall, successfully managed to shift the blame not only for their own sins, but the blame for other's involvement in the slave trade for hundreds of years past... to Republicans. And incredibly, Republicans to this day cannot seem to figure out how to scrape that particular nuclear spit ball off. In fact history reveals, it was the Republicans having lined up behind the example set by President Lincoln, who led the effort to abolish slavery and free the slaves. That effort manifested in the Civil War, resulted in The Emancipation Proclamation of January 1, 1863, by which all slaves were "set free forever." Said proclamation BTW, was paid for with the blood of around 625 thousand white soldiers who gave their all on the battle field. Now, those were some pretty steep reparations in their own right there, AOC and Elizabeth Warren and Kamal Harris.

Incredibly, like the bill of bias Hitler pinned on the shirts of condemned Jews of the holocaust during WW2, Dems have somehow sold folks on the notion that Republicans harbor the same sort of dark, mysterious and ill-character as did the Jew. Well, we know Hitler was the one possessed of dark character, just as are those IMHO who go about fomenting ill will in our land today. Both the Jew and Conservatives are innocent of any particular wrongdoing, especially any sort of racial wrongdoing. To this day for example, nobody can truthfully say a Tea Partier did anything of substance which was wrong. Still, from the 1860's the Dems and our institutions of education continue to prosecute this misconception of bias on the part of Republicans and therefore, conservatives; Thusly keeping the fires of hatred and contempt stoked against innocent and basically honest working citizens of this land. And the evidence for the argument could not be more clearly demonstrated than it has been in the riots of the Obama era, the verbal and physical assaults which have been committed against Trump political rally goers, the confirmation hearings (Bret Kavanaugh's in particular), and as are being voiced daily from the hallowed halls.

The point being, certainly there were and are examples of bias. But those issues are to be dealt with socially, morally and legally. Not politically, and certainly not shouted to the heavens every day by the Al Sharpton's and politicians wanting to climb to the top on the backs and at the expense of innocent people.

Democrats would do well to start recognizing the sovereignty of Almighty God again IMHO, not seeking to ban any mention of Him. That is and will be their burden bear. Nor do I believe are all Republicans people of faith. But the overt defectors, the RINO's, has nothing to do with politics in my view. It has to do with carrying the water of false doctrine for their critics in an effort to prove themselves otherwise worthy. Appeasement never works, as the present level of open hostility delivered by way of object lesson daily demonstrates. I mean, if they, libs, cannot latch onto basic economics and current affairs (and obviously they cannot) at least an accurate understanding of history, not the revisionist kind, should be requisite for ascension to high office. People slam AOC for not having any meaningful grasp of the past or the likely future , but many Republicans are just as clueless, and therefore chinless. Just ask Jeff Flake who if he'd had any personal integrity whatever, in the face of all the liberal confrontation of the Kavanaugh hearing, wanted to summon the courage to change his vote. But he was locked in indecision because he didn't know if he was more afraid of the left's contempt or being scorned to shame by the right.
