A really weird game. UHA was very workman like in their effort. UHA was down 13-9 and then went on a nice run to stretch it to 15 by the end of the half. There wasn't a ton of "flash" in this beat-down. Just great defense and efficient scoring.
Why is UHA a legit top 5 or 10 team this year? They're defending lights out. Their loss vs. LCA wasn't because of defense, it was because of rebounding. They seem to have solved that since the LCA debacle.
UHA played the last 3.5 quarters without stud sophmore guard KJ Crump. William Bryan came off the bench for a terrific all around game. (See stats below).
UHA has a big game against Mayfield Saturday. mayfield has proven to be a tough match-up for them in the past. And with Krump likely out it will be a tough test.
EDIT - It should also be noted that Christian County was without their starting point guard, mathis. He's a nice player and likely would have helped some. But UHA was the better team, by far.
