Valley finally gets a close one to go their way. Even though their record may not show it Valley has been playing some good ball and played some close games against some pretty tough teams. Valley jumped out to a 3 to 0 lead after 1 inning of play. Pike Central kept chipping away until they tied the game in the 6th inning at 3. Valley came out in the 7th and scored to go up 4 to 3. Justin Tackett and Valley held on from there for the win. Tackett pitched another good game only giving up 2 earned runs. Congrats to Valley.
