Congrats to Breathitt County.

Estill couldn't get their offense going, too many fumbles...Breathitt on the other hand was up to par with their offense and estill couldn't slow them down. Game could have been worse, had Breathitt not gotten so many penalties that backed them up to the 33 yard line on 4 & goal.

Congrats Bobcats!

Ugly game. My main take away from this game was the officiating or lack there of. 🙏 Estill gets turf. I know the announcers were asking for it. 😆
🙏 all the kids who were injured are 👌

They were actually getting turf several years ago (not sure how many to be exact) but the tax increase that was gonna pay for it or help pay for it, was cut out so that went down the drain.

Estill could have easily won this game. They were up 22-20 with the ball, ran it inside the 10 and got called back on an illegal shift. Would have put them up 28-20 or 30-20. That being said, Breathitt played well when they had to. Hard to win a game when you put the ball on the ground EIGHT TIMES!!!! Estill will have to protect the ball better this Friday or it will be a long night in Stanton.

I actually agree that Estill had some moments where they could've made it a different ball game. I didn't think Breathitt played particularly well. The problem is when running the double wing, if things don't work exactly the way they're supposed to, you get behind, or even have a play that causes you to get behind the sticks (i.e second and long bc you lost three yards on power) then you really aren't going to be successful.

I hope that next year Estill looks at potentially changing the offense a little. They have some really good athletes and honestly some good lineman that aren't being utilized in the current offense they run. Ty Neace is a special player and I think they should capitalize on his talent.

I agree that the offense needs to change, but that's not going to happen with this coaching staff, and that is perfectly fine. As for Ty, he is a freshman. Give it time and he will be a very solid ball player.
