Estill had bases loaded in back to back innings and couldn't push anything across or this one could have been worse.

Congrats to the my Engineers on another district title, this makes 3 in a row if I am not mistaken. Fun and exciting game to watch. The freshman Rocky Hix was electric on the mound. Not exactly sure on the numbers, but I would venture to say 10+ K's and less than 5 hits. When he is on the mound, watch out for Estill County come next week. Good luck to the Pirates of Powell County next week in Region play.

Hix looked like a man among boys out there. Skidmore from Powell looked the same. Other than the first inning, the game was evenly matched. both teams had just 4/5 hits and both Hix and Skidmore had 10+ strike outs. A couple of hits for Estill in the first scored the only runs of the game. Estill is going to be a tough out next week.
