Louisville Central 2018
#1
Thoughts and predictions?
#2
Do they have anything coming back?
#3
Central lost some quality defensive personnel....but Central is Central. Loads of speed, athleticism and plenty of kids to choose from. I think the book is still out on the Central coaching staff however. Built their entire season around beating Belfry.....then laid and egg at home against Corbin. Central looked flat and ill-prepared the first 27 minutes of that game. Typically.....that falls on the staff. No disrespect intended......I just think that if Scroggins had been at the helm....Central would have advanced to Kroger Field. FWIW, I don't think they would have beaten Boyle with/without Scroggins

They lose their QB, maybe the 3 best defensive players around that combined for nearly 300 tackles on the season, and some starting linemen. They return their leading rusher (Williams), and leading receiver (Baker), and several incoming seniors. If they make the regional finals (expected) they will travel to the #1 seed from D5 (if they make it as well.) That would be a minimum 2+ hour trip (Bath Co) and possibly 3+ hour trip (Russell).

If that's the case.....then either Russell or Bath Co will be taking a butt stomping. Neither program has what it takes to play with Central. Not right now
