Reds Release Paul Wilson

No surprise. He took the Reds for a couple of million two years ago knowing he was having arm problems and missed all of last season and most of 2005. He wasn't gonna make the club as the 5th starter.

Guess his next stop is Kansas City or back to Tampa Bay.

He was not given the option of starting the season in Louisville. His career may be over.

You know, some fans forget that Aaron Harang led the league in wins, strikeouts and CG last season and Arroyo led the league in innings pitched. They have a couple of strong horses barring injuries and if Homer Bailey emerges...Confusedhh:

I agree. The Reds haven't had 2 horses like that at the top of the rotation in a long time. However, I really hope that they don't rush Bailey to the majors this year out of desperation when Milton serves up his 293rd or so homer of the year. Bailey needs to be given time to develop properly, even if that means he stays in Louisville until next year. He is the future ace of the staff, I just don't want them to mess him up like they have done so many others...
