The best player I saw this year was Pettigrew, the second best player that I saw that won't get much recognition because of his location is Russell's Jon Vanhoose, who was the state's first d-1 signee, Walls from Scott County was the only other player in the state I saw that was close to these two, and will have the extra edge of winning the state, so he may actually end up winning the award
