13th Region coach of the year
#1
Who should get the coach of the year in the 13th region?
#2
Clay County's, Glenn Gray or Harlan Independent, Derrick Akal.
#3
Between the two Akal.
#4
Harlan County's Michael Jones.

That's a tough question. Just looking through records and schedules, I might would choose Tony Pietrowski. Corbin played Lexington Catholic, PRP, Lexington Christian, and Paris from outside the region. Of the top teams, Corbin played by far the best schedule and still won 25 games. If you have a really good team, why not play a really good schedule?

Patterson from KC has to be in the mix.

I think either Corbin or Knox Centrals coach should get it......I know a lot of people will say Gray from Clay County but I think anyone could have taken the team they had this year and won 17 games.......the only team outside of North Laurel they beat....that maybe they shouldn't have is Cordia.....and Cordia really wasn't that good........they only beat 3 teams with a winning record and one of those teams they split. If Gray gets it then I would give it to the former coach Robert Marcum for scheduling a easy schedule.

I feel like it has to go to Tony Pietrowski. The guy consistently does more, with less, than anybody in the region.
