North was up 33-13 at half. Leslie didn't play well the 1st half. North went ice cold and got in foul trouble 2nd half. Really missing Sheppard.

They lost there leading scorer an leader Sheppard to season ending injury! so this win is alittle misleading! But it's still a solid win for Leslie.

I was looking at north's games played after Sheppard got hurt. There were 3 or 4 teams that beat them,that they won those games before she got hurt!

Sheppard not playing makes north a 10 -15 point worse team.

North had 2 girls foul out with about 3 to go, really hurt them.. Also, they missed too many free throws late.

I was talking by phone with a friend who was at the Leslie North game. Leslie came out ice cold from the field, starting driving to the goal and had several shots blocked by the big girl from North. They were getting open shots, but not falling. The third qtr defensive pressure with Griffith and Meyers getting hot turned the game in a hurry. Good win for the Eagles.

Leslie is the favorite to win the district. Knott the favorite in their district. Breathitt in theirs and lee county. Good win for leslie
