Top 3 are way ahead of the rest.

I would remove #4 Lafayette and move everyone up, In fact to make it easy flip flop and put Saint X in their spot and place Lafayette at #7. Why you ask? Lafayette so far has beat up cupcake and can't beat a top tier team and Saint X, Scott Co, Ryle has proven to play well vs top teams.

Really, one close loss to defending state champs of 2a and out you go???? I'm telling you all McCracken is still a top ten team with loads of talent. I would say 7-10 somewhere but, they belong in. That is too funny. Line Cooper, PRP or North Hardin up against them and see. You guys in the east really need to watch some film before voting.

Really, what would happen to mayfield if they was ranked #8 in 2A and got beat by a # 1 team in 1A mytoptenteamsonmayfieldschedules55....Bump city from the east and west. Some of us don't have excess to mayfield game film. :HitWall::HitWall::HitWall: I voted McCracken #11.....Plus I maybe the only person in the east voting for Hilliary :Cheerlead

Time will tell how McCracken does going forward, next game a dozy. Then a weak District for 4 games followed by Bowling Green. Hope they play well next 6 games. Win a couple in the playoffs will be a step forward.

PRP is loaded. I don't know that I'd put one in front of another. I mean, loaded. Big as hell and speed everywhere, and a couple are big time speed. Defensively they might be the best, which says something in and of itself.

I voted PRP 9th. I haveto think they are on the bubble with the other panel members. :pondering:

I'm telling you McCracken is loaded with speed and size too. Just because they lost to Mayfield doesn't mean they shouldn't be in. I bet they are in the ap polls. They still have them in the top ten on Lit. I bet Cantrell does as well. Just because Mayfield is a small school doesn't mean that should be a bad loss.

64, I sure hope you aren't going to waste your vote for the Bengasi liar.

McCracken, IMHO, is pretty firm in that 9-12 range
I can't see them beating any team from Jefferson County of note or the best from the CKY and NKY teams (Ryle, SK, Scott Co, Lafayette), but I think they could play or beat most anyone else in 6A and probably most everyone in 5A not named Bowling Green.
That is a big time win from Mayfield no matter how you slice it

I'll let you answer wether they should be top ten with a question. Was mccrackens comeback more to do with mayfield being fatigued, and having to switch the lineup up quite a bit with trajon being out injured, or do you think mccracken was just playing that horrible to start the game. The team I seen getting the crap kicked out of them didn't look like a top 10 6a team, but the team that was getting the best of mayfield in the 4th quarter did look like a top 10 team. Which is the real mccracken county?
09-13-2016, 01:38 PM
The 4th quarter team is the real team. They lost momentum after not being able to score on the first drive and it quickly got dicey with the 2 safeties. Had the ball at the end but fumbled last chance at about the 35 yard line of Mayfield. If and it is a big if he doesn't fumble heck they might have won. But they didn't. It certainly was not close for the first 3 quarters. Penalties killed both teams. Yards gained was about the same for both teams.

While these McCracken people still don't get it, here is the facts. No, if we were fresh and had Trajon, they wouldn't have scored any more than 24 on us this year. Yes, it was fatigue that allowed such a come back. But, I would say it would be the same with about half of those listed in the top ten. What you have to understand is that this is a very talented team, and when the younger back up players catch up to speed, they will be able to do a bit of platooning themselves if needed. Our coaching staff just knows the formula to stop that offense. The way they played it, it wouldn't matter if they had all pro recievers out there. They can't affect you if you can't get the ball to them and if so, the defense knows exactly where to be when they get it. The two late turnovers that cost us one td and allowed them back in, was due to players cramping up and essentially dropping the ball as they went down.

Nothing to get about what happened, injuries, cramps etc are all part of the game both teams had them plus numerous penalties. I was just saying McCracken had one last chance but couldn't make the play after the fumble. Don Meredith que the music.

I think we will have a better idea about McCracken his Friday night. I think if they can hang with Pulaski Academy it is safe to say they are a top 10 team.
