Raceland was clicking on all cylinders tonight and this was the first time that I have seen them truly dominate a team in a couple of years. Aside from the special teams errors in the first possession that led to East Carter's lone score the Raiders really had no answer for the Rams. Bailey Walker is an absolute beast and will be hard for anyone to stop. We still need to clean up some penalties but all in all I was very impressed with their level of effort tonight. This team did not look flat at all tonight and that is something that I have not seen from a Raceland team in several years.
The JV looked good as well and I was very impressed with their 4th down stop late in the game deep in Ram territory. I realize that East Carter wasn't the strongest opponent but I really believe that a big win like this was good for the confidence of the Rams because it showed them what they can be capable of when everyone is playing well.

Bailey Walker is a bad dude right now. Nathaniel spreads the ball all over the field. Recievers are blocking down the field, we are really starting to figure things out. But with that said, we have to play cleaner. Stupid penalties have to stop.

Looking forward to Paintsville week already

That Paintsville match up is shaping up to be one for the ages I believe. But leave no doubt, neither the Tigers or Rams can sleep on Fairview. Granted, their numbers were already low, then they lost two multi-year starters off their OL/DL, for the season I believe. But they are still loaded with tallent at the skill position. So they wont just go away. But, after watching film on the Tigers/Panthers and seeing us in our first 3 games, these two have the best lineman in the class. Thats where the big games are won. Rams and Tigers are on a colision course.

No one should be concerned with any team except Greenup next week. One at a time and continue to clean up mistakes & get better. The big games will still be there waiting for the RAMS when the time arrives.

Good win , Rams did what they were suppose to do , receivers made some nice catches last night . John cherry made a really nice catch in the middle of he field . Around 500 yards of offense in the first half , staters only played one series in the second half . Good to see the younger kids get some playing time

I thought the JV/Frosh looked good last night as well. Damron looks good at QB, as did several others. The cupboard is far from bare up front also. Several nice sized and atheletic kids on the JV OL and the DL is very quick and physical as well.
