Congrats to the eagles, ill take some taters please!

Leslie County looked very impressive. Knott County has a decent team but their run is over for a while.

KCC is a young team that has a long way to go to get better. They are going take some beatings this year. They don't have no inside threat. If a team plays man to man against them. They are going struggle big time. People got to realize that the group kcc had last 4 years don't come around this area very often. Even trinity is not what they was last year.

You got to remember Cody that Leslie County isnt really that bad of a team. Give Knott some credit. Maybe its Leslie Countys turn in the cycle to be good. Its not like Knott produces guys like Hall and Justice all the time. Knott will get better and they will learn to handle man to man defense before the season is out. Give BB some time. I know that Coach Day works his tail off at Leslie and he has earned this win. Look for Leslie to beat everyone in the region this year possibly.
#11
I agree with u bulldogs4ever. Knott got to learn how to play against man to man. You got people on here that are loving every time knott get beat. Leslie will surprise teams this year.
#12
Leslie is really tough on the inside with those big guys.. Great win for the Eagles

Leslie does have a nice team and they can probably beat everyone in the region but one team. The Comodores of PCC will not lose to the Eagles. You can forget that.

Gonna be a long year for the pats I'm afraid

I saw 3 of the 4 54th district teams play Friday night and Saturday. Right now Leslie Co. is the best of those three. They are big, physical and have several really good shooters. They also have a couple good players that come off the bench. Asher can score inside and from the three point line. He is a match up nightmare.

Leslie definitely deserves all the praise they get and they are doing all of this without their starting freshman PG, Darron Whitaker. The season and future looks bright for Coach Day and the Eagles.

Ole fatpat and Pat Nation not used to getting beat, wowza!!! We sure got smacked around in Hyden Saturday. Talked to BB last night, we going to have to start playing Superman even if he has 6 fouls. Superman was struggling to get out of the phone booth. We have to get Iceman going or we will be in trouble. Thank goodness for the Green Lantern Noble. He was our bright spot.

BTW, Leslie is going to have to beef up their concessions. I was starving when I left and not an asian buffet in sight.

More mash taters please!

[Image: https://i.imgflip.com/vd547.jpg]Wowza! Ole FatPat not worried baby! It's early and Iceman,Austin Powers,Superman, and Green Lantern Noble be finding their groove like Lil Wayne bruh! BB is a mastermind and Pats be rolling before long! Tater bag had a hole in it when we got off the bus! Fell for the ole Nixon trick! Thanks to the lady at the concessions for giving me extras! Thanks for the hospitality but the game was like a spoiled tater! Props to the Asher kid,he's a baller! Three words baby-anchor down Pats! More mash taters please!!!

Is Asher the big kid that plays football?
#20
^Yes. Blake Asher led the Eagles with 23 points and six rebounds. Nick Hoskins finished the game with 14 points. Trystan Collett and Colin Smith had 10 points each. Leslie shot very well and was 8-15 behind the 3 point line. Asher is a wonderful kid with a bright future. He shoots very well, actually had 3-4 threes and can play the post very well.Great atmosphere.

Leslie manned up, Knott didn't. That's just the way it was. I thought Leslie did a poor job by letting Knott back in the game when they were up by double digits. They have to improve on that if they want a regional title. Knott looked they were uncomfortable with their offense at times and lack a true defensive presence.
#22
You are right. Leslie has to put teams away. Missed 11 foul shots, and some of those were front end. Also missed some gimmes around basket.

Fix that and limit second chance points and they are a difficult match up for most of the 14th.

The young man that guarded Combs did a great job containing him.Caudill forced way too many shots and Jones was in foul trouble from the get go.Leslie was the more physical team.Leslie has some depth and Knott has several key areas to work on to move forward.First is team cohesion and it's just not there this year, seen glimpses of what can be but right now it isn't there.

Have watched Caudill and Combs, both have the ability to hit shots, but neither can guard anyone on the defensive end. Teams that are athletic and can defend will always have the upper hand on KCC regardless of their youth.

Knott county will be fine by year's end. I fully believe that the 14th is anybody's title. I think Perry is a step ahead, but no team is overly dominant. There will be plenty of tight games this year, which makes it a ton of fun to watch. Leslie county is in the same position. Won a big game against Knott and lost last night to Buckhorn in double digits. Better not overlook anyone this season.
