Limitations of seasons
#1
Sec. 3) SPORTS SPECIFIC LIMITATIONS- BASKETBALL- BOYS AND
GIRLS
a) Following the opening day of school, there shall be no organized
basketball practice prior to October 15.

Just wondering if this rule is broken by every school in the state? Most schools have practice schedules that run throughout the year. I know every school in my region has had practice since the first day of school.

Are you sure they aren't doing open gym where they just have some random kids come in with all the basketball players who aren't playing football? I know the coaches come and watch these and see what's happening and give some input.

A never ending season in any sport will cause athlete burn-out. I've been around long enough to see it MANY times.
