ya we played a good game. My hats off to Matewan they really give us a run. I wish them well and good luck to them. Phelps playe a heck of a good game. Although I was concerend when Matewan got ahead of there in the 3nd quater I belive it was but yet we came back and won and we played really good. Gratz Hornest.

I noticed in the boxscore of the game that the Burgraff kid who played at Belfry last year as a freshman had 27 points !!!!

Burgraff has come into his own this year. Matewan was very good and if their big guys would have learned to play under control they would have beat Phelps. Charlie Hunt is a heck of a player and Phelps stepped up at the end congrats Hornets. If Matewan learns to box out and not go over the back so much on rebounds they could be pretty good. Phelps plays Gilbert Wv. Wednesday. They have by far the ebst team in Mingo Co. IMO. Phelps will have to play a great game.
