Wow i had no idea that Central had six girls in double figures this definetly goes to show that they have more threats on the offensive side rather than Ratliff and Lowe...Pike Central has always played team ball one reason they are always succesful they go into game know how to get the job done and then take care of business just like Magoffin last year...The loss of the big girl in side has really heart Magoffin IMO...I figured that it would be a better game do to this reason...Once Slone gets back IF she ever does then alot of teams are going to be in trouble on the low post...With Slone and Lowe in there rebounds should go PCs way every time...
Did PC press the whole game...and im guessing they played a 2-2-1 contain press...droping into a 3-2...and a little bit of man is this correct???

Also, as for Slone...the KHSAA needs to get a grip on things...transfer once, I guess it is ok...transfer twice...end of your career in this state...that sounds fair. I know from experience...transfers are cancer! It is nothing more than a selfish act...individuals who transfer care only about themselves...not teams!!!

PC played man the entire game. no attacking press and no zones
MC full court press a lot of the game but as a previous post stated they were too tired.
The game is replayed on February 3 at MC. Should be interesting.

In a previous thread it said Slone would be ruled eligible for this game..Was she ruled eligible? If so, did she play?

The Lady Hornets recieved a good ole' ass wooping and they needed it, shooting 8 for 25 at the line will not win many games at all. The Lady Hornets also missed countless numbers of layups and open shots, this was the worst I have ever seen them play! Girls you might not realize this, but that was the best thing that could of happened to you. No offense to PC but I think on both teams best night, the Lady Hornets would win, 10-12 points. This was a wakeup call for the Lady Hornets.:rockon:

Maybe PC's defense is part of the reason for their poor shooting? Its hard to say that Magoffin wins by 10-12 on their best night when they just got thumped...

this is a new team though not to say they will not bounce back but i look for it to be tougher this season then last season...but i sure hope they do i want to see a good ole barn burner again at the Expo Center
