Under cloudy skies, light rain and 58 degrees, American Pharoah completed his serious preparation for Saturdayâs Belmont Stakes with a five-furlong breeze over a Churchill Downs track rated âfastâ in 1:00.80 with Martin Garcia in the saddle.
