Since there are four different state champs for now why not a Mr.football for every class?

Good point!

Just because your in a different class, doesn't mean that that player is any better or worse than a player in another class. You truly wouldn't have a Mr. Football if you had 4 of them.

The best over all player deserves it not 4 players

Do they currently have an award for:
Class A Player of the Year
Class AA Player of the Year
Class AAA Player of the Year
Class AAAA Player of the Year
If not, I wouldn't mind seeing one. If so, I'd like to hear more about it. That would be seperate from Mr. Football so it would keep its prestiege, but would also let us hear about some other great players in the state.

I kinda like that how it is...
If it aint broke, don't fix it

If you are A,AA you always hear that you play no good competition and that if you re AAAA, you play the best in the state.... Is this a fair analogy????

It is written: " 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.' "

Well, yes, the football will usually be stronger in the larger classes because of more student athletes playing and better facilities. But, its not fair to compare the players of each class to another class because if you put some of the A players on 4a teams, they will still be great players.

Good point, they should have something like that, so someone from all class coudl get a lil recognition

Even if they gave a Mr. Football award to each class, I don't think Eastern Kentucky would anymore recognition than they do now.

I'm not taking about 4 "Mr. Football" keep just one of those,
Then have the Class 1-4 A "Player of the Year" or something like that
they woudl at least of a chance for some recongnition

Oh OK I see what your saying now, that wouldn't be a bad idea.
11-27-2006, 05:57 PM
That would be good. So a very talented kid out of each class would be reconized.

4 recognized would be great... That way their is another way to get kids names out to colleges or recruiters... A good marketing tool for the kids...

True, but they do it I would think to give other school's of smaller size's a chance to win a championship against other school's their same size

it would be a good thing if they had a player of the year for each class. we could do this and still have a # 1 over all mr. football.
