Only his 2nd year in the bigs he wins the NL MVP. Had 58 home runs and a monster month of August when he had 14 dingers and led the Phillies back into the playoff hunt but in the end fell short. Regardless this is a great feat for such a young player and he will have many more to come. He edged out the reining MVP in Albert Pujols. Congrats well deserved.
