7th Grade KBA State Tournament
#1
The 7th grade state tournament will be posted soon on playkba.com. 56 teams from across the state will be playing this weekend in Lexington. Good luck to all teams.
#2
Should be good!
#3
Who are the favorites?
#4
Don't know much about lex area or nor ky. probably shelby co. meece, etc.
#5
Northern Pulaski won state last year as 6th graders and should be one of the top teams again this year. Crosby from Louisville, Clay Co, Wayne Co, Corbin, and Scott Co. are a few good teams to watch this weekend. South Laurel had a good team last year and could be a tough out again this year. North Marshall has a good team from the far western part of the state. Ashland was in the final 4 last year. This should once again be a great tournament and well represented from across the state.

after watching Hazard 7th grade beat OBI freshman team last night by 3 points
I'd have to think They are one of the top teams if not the favorite to win the
7th grade tourny
#7
Hazard has a touch team I've watched them play numerous times getting big wins against clay county (Hacker&Manchester combined) also playing up and beating the OBI freshman last night. There's no doubt that hazard is a top 7th grade team In the state... Have an all around great team... Great size In Reece fletcher, mason Collins, Jacob Johnson and great guard play in wade pelfrey, Trajon Campbell, and Logan hall.

CAL has some big physical athletes. They will be tough.
#9
Hazard will be good. Northern pulaski has lost one of their guards to a tore acl but I still look for them or clay co to pull it out. South Laurel is still without matt cromer but have beat northern pulaski early in the year and just lost to clay by 4 the other nite. They can still make a run if they get hot. I thought northern and south laurel was best two teams last year just happened to meet in the elite 8. Hazard, Wayne, northern pulaski, clay, scott co, ashland and crosby all have a shot at it. shelby west dropped out last year cause of weather and they won their conf up there this year. I hear they ae pretty good.

Hazard plays them Saturday morning

How are the Pulaski county teams doing in the 7th grade state tournament?
#12
I think one of the following will win it. Northern was a lock in my opinion if not for injuries. I'd have to pick Hazard, Clay, Crosby, or Northern. Sleepers being South, Corbin, and Scott County. I don't know if Rockcastle is in it, but they are huge.
