After watching film of the Missouri game evidently Stoops was embarrassed by the effort put out by the team as a whole including coaches, but more so the unbelievably poor excuse of an effort by the offense! Now a pissed off Georgia team comes in ready looking for redemption from their embarrassing performance last week against Florida. I believe our Cats will play better and more inspired but it won't be enough to get a win. I hope I'm wrong about the outcome!
Ga 48
Ky 27

I'm afraid I would say the same thing. Regardless of how well the offense plays, we can NOT stop a good run game.

Brian Griese is pointing out mistakes that Towles is making! Towles is not reading the defense at all.... Fred Tiller is a HUGE liability on defense also! And where is Dupree? He's doing nothing besides trying to protect himself for the draft! Similar to how Clowney played last year!!!!

Our nose guard is getting his ass whipped so bad it's embarrassing! He's got a documented bad ankle and shouldn't be out there probably? Getting pushed all over the damn place!!!

This Ky team is like a lot of guys golf game, one day your short game kills em and the next day their long game kills em. With Ky one week their offense is horrendous and the next week there D can't make a single stop!!!! Ga has had the 5 possessions in the first half and they have 5 td's???? That's just ridiculous! Make a stop!!!!!!!! Just one please!!!!!

Hard to believe this team? So many fundamental deficiencies along with so much mental weakness! No bowl game for this extremely weak team!! If not for a complete defensive breakdown by SC earlier this team would finish 4-8. Spurrier prob has nightmares about what they let happen in the 4th quarter???

Even the B-team is kicking our ass.

Im curious about something.
All year ive heard about how great Zadarius Smith is. Hes one of the biggest powder puffs on the team. I just don't understand the hype on that guy.
As for Dupree, if he wasn't so athletic, he would be in a world of trouble as well.
Forget the rest of the defense, Elliott calls the right plays, but they just get shoved around like dolls.
And on a side not, im now not only calling for Neal Browns head, I want Naviar or however you spell it gone as well. He has don't nothing but ruin the special teams play.
Get you some help stoops or im gonna be calling for Petrino again.

RunItUpTheGut Wrote:Im curious about something.Brown was at TT when the Big 12 played NO defense and the dink and dunk along with anything else they wanted to run worked, kind of like how Ky's offense has worked well against their weak ass non conference schedule.... This Ky team unfortunately has a pathetic excuse of a running game, backs that just don't have the kind of instincts it takes to have success in the SEC and obviously an offensive line outmatched week after week in the SEC. Back to the drawing board. Thanks to the ol ball coach (Spurrier) for allowing the UK fan base to be teased BIGTIME!!!

If Stoops doesn't get some legitimate coaches around him to coach the reasonably good recruits he's bringing in HE will be the one that eventually will be looking for new employment. Pretty hard to believe after beating a totally down Vandy team and a pretty obvious mess of a team (S Carolina) then giving the #1 team (MS) a competitive game Barnhardt gives Stoops a huge extension and the program gets exposed to the world for what it really is (a program in danger of falling flat on its face) Cant stop anybody, cant move the ball consistently and probably THE WORST special teams in the ENTIRE nation....................................................................... This is what we get for the 3.5 million dollar plus a year package Mitch just gave Bob's little brother????????????? Thank God for John Calipari is what I am thinking right about now!!!

Look at the game film from 2012 and the roster. Then look at the game film and roster for this season. Some of you need to stick to basketball because it's obvious you don't know a damn thing about football.

I do believe there is improvement from 2012, but the way this team has played in 3 of their last 4 games unfortunately doesn't look a whole lot different than 2012. Stoops obviously with his contract extension has time to build a program, but the big question IMO is does he have the kind of coaches around him that will get him where he wants to be??? After watching the recent beat downs I don't believe he does and he is the one ultimately responsible for who he surrounds himself with. We are loosing some of the most talented defensive players we have to graduation, we do have several offensive players back, but without quality coaches they will not succeed in the SEC.

U are right, especially about Vandy. If u remember, that score was 17-7 and I believe one of those scores was on defense. Somebody made the comment that beating S Carolina just "teased" UK fans. Like u, I just dont understand why the contract extension came when it did. I understand these guys have agents and publicity people now, but the timing was bad.....he had THREE years left on his original deal.

Basketball is our only hope as usual.
