NOT TAKING ANYTHING AWAY FROM THESE TEAMS
But I don't get how Leslie County can get votes for the top 25. They have two region losses to Hazard (10-7) and Jenkins (15-4)....other than that they haven't played anyone. Give Jenkins or Estill County their schedule and both teams very well could be undefeated....
These EKY teams need to get down in the central part of the state and play teams, either on weekends or during a school break...Jenkins done a good job of that this year when they came to Madison central's tournament...
Estill County beats Montgomery County but Montgomery gets Votes and Estill doesn't? Lafayette beat Estill 1-0..Lafayette got 10 votes just like Montgomery County and no Estill County votes?
Again, not taking anything away from these teams, I know the players get out and work their butts off to be able to play, just don't understand these rankings...

The coaches poll is a buddy system thing. When you look at it each week you just shake your head more.

How many coaches are really aware that Greenwood is 6-10 and they're still ranking them in the top 25? Or that Mercy at #9 is barely above .500 and has 12 losses? Or Bullitt East is 11-11? I think we need something similar to the NCAA's "How the Top 25 Fared This Week" thing to send the coaches each Sunday.
