Surprisingly easy win assures Tilghman will take the 3A-1 crown with only Webster County remaining. Signs of a faint pulse detected in Tornado town.
Tilghman climbs to 4-5 after a brutal non-district schedule, and has won three of its last four games.

I expected this and think everybody else did.

This is what should have been expected all year. I have said all along they will be playing in regionals and maybe semis again. They are 1 game better than at this point last year.

They do not have anywhere near the athletes they have had in the past, but they are executing, and not shooting themselves in the foot every other play.
The kids are buying into the system and playing their butts off.

Congrats PT

That is what discipline does for a team. They always have athletes, they just have to be smart and disciplined. The new staff is rectifying that.

Tilghman's QB Jesse Dunagin goes almost unnoticed because he has no time to throw. If he has time, he can put on a show. He was 13 of 15 for 186 yards against Trigg.

I was impressed with how good he is at making his own time when they played us. If not for his scrambling abilities in that game, PT would have had about 50 or so yards less offense.

Surprised by the score here. Trigg has been playing better in recent weeks. I expected PT to win but figured it'd be more along the 28-7 or 28-14 type score.. PT will have a great shot to get to title game. They should cake calk to the regional finals and they are pretty equal with SWarren in regard to talent and they've been much more tested.. If they were to get to semi's, most likely Central or Corbin would be waiting and I think they also match up well with either of those teams.. The PT QB can throw the ball well and they have some fast receivers that can catch the ball and make yards after the catch. The difference in this years team vs past PT teams is they lack size in the trenches on both sides of the ball and a strong running team could give them some problems..

Not surprised by this. They play a tough schedule, everyone leaves them 4 dead then they dominate there district, and make it to at least the 3rd round of playoffs, same thing different year.

Yep

What is funny is 90 percent of the people that gets on here and says tilghman is struggling roots for a team that would have just as bad if not a worse record than tilghman if they played that brutal schedule. 3a fans always dismiss pt and look at there record, and forget that pt is playing some really good teams and hanging in there close with a lot of them.
