Teams have not thrown the ball a lot against Knox, but when they have they have not been real successful. According to stats on KHSAA site they have only given up 54 yards passing this year. That may not mean anything because they may see more pass attempts in this game than they have seen all year. But that is still pretty good. I do hope Whitley wins, but I just don't see it. Whitley can score just can't stop anyone.

I just don't see Whitley holding Knox to just 21 points after what they let a weak clay county team score on them.

Whitley and Luke Allen will find A way.

I think Whitley pulls out in the fourth quarter. Both teams have shown more skills and threats than last season. Whitley's line is young but, they are very talented. They have Paul who has played since his sophomore year. Mason a new lineman but very strong. Davenport a newbie but has shown some big plays. Canada who played after the center went down. Pheifer who played on defense last season. They may not be big but they have big hearts and play with passion.

Better watch out Whitley, if you win you will be trashed in the following weeks paper. Knox county fans always have an excuse. They have never lost a game down there it's always gettin cheated out or something. And make sure the game is on film that way you can let everyone know the real truth about the game, cause we all know Knox fans can sure make

well all things said were not accurate but there and watchin the game most of the things were seen and any fan of the game could have seen them.
i hope that nothing even close happens this week . most at fault last week i think was the officals calling a one sided game, anyone knows that if a team gets by with something it will be done again and again and if its not called it escalates not saying that central didnt deserve every penelty they had but 18 to 3 anyone who knows the game knows thats is next to impossible. Lets just hope a good game is played and officated

I'm not taking sides in that game but I think officiating overall is horrible and has been one sided in a lot of games over the years.KHSAA should keep an eye on them and hold them accountable. some of them dont even know what they are doing when they get on the field and act lost kind of like a football player out of position because he has a bad coach and hasn't been taught how to play.

You named three seniors a junior and a sophomore. That's not that young. But when kids get on here and talk about themselves, they tend to be a little biased.

I just got this email containing this link to video. The coaches put all the Defensive plays on it up till Barger leaves the game. Judge for yourselves.

All I see is a very lazy player when it's a run play. Never once got close to being hit.. Typical Knox county.
09-26-2014, 11:15 PM
I don't have a dog in this fight. But nothing out of the ordinary on that video. There was maybe one play where I thought a penalty COULD (not necessarily should) have been called for late hitting. But it was borderline.

panther nation Wrote:Knox has a pretty good pass defense as well as a run defense. I don't think whitley a Qb will have much time to throw against KC d-line.
If Whitley can't stop KC from running it will be a long night for Whitley. Mills and Johnson will have a big night.
if you're wrong say you're wrong

I have no problem saying I was wrong. But he really didn't hurt KC with his arm as much as he did with his legs!!!
