The Laker defense looked very strong in last night's scrimmage. The 1st string group didn't give up any points and very few first downs. Fletcher and Mann both had nice interceptions and Ratcliff was making plays all over the field. The 1st string offense showed some growing pains but scored 3 touchdowns in 3 quarters of play. Ratcliff, Fletcher and Myers all ran the ball well! Ratcliff runs with a toughness that out powers many would be tacklers, and Fletcher's speed was evident as well. The 2nd teamers gave up one touchdown and scored on a long run by quarterback Braxton Mann. It should be an interesting season this year. One week until the Real football football starts!!
