I was having a discussion about soccer camps with a friend the other day and he indicated many teams are not doing camps for soccer. I thought it was pretty much the norm and the same as other sports, football, baseball etc. So I am curious how many teams are doing soccer camps and reasons why or why not, and if not are they doing any thing else instead.inglepar:thatsfunn

First reason is the cost, generally above $200 per player.
Second is kids these days really seem to want the summer off. Either due to jobs, vacations, or other activities. There are few kids that actually spend the off season working to get better. It's sad.
