Good win for HC, got several big performances starting with Scotty Bailey who pithed 6 innings and had two big hits (double and hr) Chance Brown also had two huge hits, a 3 run hr that put HC up 6-5 in the 5th and an 8th inning single that helped lead to the 3 runs that sealed the deal for the Bears. Blake Rutherford and Anthony Jenkins had 2 clutch hits a piece and both made big plays in the field as well. Then last but certainly not least Sophomore Gage Burkhart came on in the 6th inning did a fine job of pitching the last 2 innings plus to get the win and also had a base base hit. We had a couple throwing errors that were mostly the result of very difficult plays, but overall the Bears seem to be cleaning their act up heading into the postseason... Keep up the good work!
